About Us
EngageGuru, a college and teacher rating portal for students to share their experiences on the digital world. The education sector in India is booming and more and more educational institutions are cropping up in India very year, to cater to the rising demand. It is becoming tough for parents and students to find an institution of their choice. Many a times, the information about a particular institution is based on hearsay, and creates lot of doubts and confusion in the mind of students as well as parents about making a decision.
EngageGuru has been formed with an aim of making an informed decision where one can find ratings made by students to institutions and their teaching staff. The idea is not to malign or defame any institution but to act as a ready reckoner for students to check performance, behavior and credibility based on current and past student experience before taking a call. The mission is to engage and connect students and alumni from across the country to voice their honest rating, recommendation and review of colleges/professors and the prospects offered, for other students seeking guidance. Students also get to "follow" colleges/ professors of their choice and share the information with their friends and contacts. The database is constantly updated as and when changes are made in the colleges.
EngageGuru is a unique website with the largest listing of colleges (more than 5,000), schools (check the #) and professors (more than 10,000,000) and teachers all over the nation, empowering former and current students to rate, comment, recommend and review colleges and/or professors nationwide for their juniors to know and follow.
